Strangely pain usually happens in the strongest part of you.

Your body is so clever - it's the last possible resort of your body to show you where to heal.

Your body is YOU - the physical version or expression of you - your thoughts, feelings, experiences.  It may be physical overexertion or a physical accident but why were you doing that in the first place?

Pain forces you to stop - relationships suffer, it stops you doing the things you want, it wakes you up at night...you have no choice but to pay attention to how you're feeling.

The body doesn't lie and it's literal - it expresses EXACTLY what's going on for you.

 

The first thing to do to figure out what's going on for you is notice where that pain is -

 

What does that part of the body do?

Problems in the head relate to things the head does eg trouble with your thoughts? memory? figuring out? assessing?

Shoulders relate to taking things onboard, feeling responsible.

The chest - relating to others, fear, heartache

The gut - moves, changes, let's go, gets rid of, transforms...how do these descriptions relate to you?

Legs - get you places, support you, move around..do you have issues related to these descriptions?

Feet - get you places, are flexible.

Heels - balance, dig your heels in, stubborn, put on the brakes, support.

Arms - give and receive

Hands - shape and form, get what we need, help you, articulate.

 

 

What does that part of the body do where you're suffering, describe what that body part does and how do those descriptions relate to you?

How does the pain affect you?

How does it make you feel or think of?

 

Do you have resistance to this exercise?

- Ask yourself what are you resisting.

-Breathe into the resistance.

-Place your hand on your problem area, breathe deep and slow and relax into the pain.

When you do this you are connecting your mind, body and emotions - centring - and that's where the healing is and the pain releases.

 

 

As a daily practice to release pain, connect to your centre or more often if you're struggling a lot.

We are ever changing, ever evolving expressions of energy, of thought, of emotion, physically too.

Every cell in your eye is renewed in 2 days.  Your liver completely renews in 3 weeks.

Your body is not solid it is ever changing.

To connect t your peaceful centre regularly allows pain to release.

 

 

You may not consciously know what's going on for you or why you can't let go of symptoms but on some level, you do know so ask yourself...

Why am I suffering?

Where is this coming from?

How can I let this go?

How can I heal?

 

Address what comes up for you so you can heal the original cause.  And when you do that the body doesn't create an issue.  

Once you've addressed the issue, the next step is to create a peaceful space so that whatever life throws at you, you will always know there is peace no matter what.

Love yourself.

Care for yourself.

Let yourself be in a loving place even if you don't feel like it!

 

Be ok with your pain, connect into the sensations, let it lead you to the root cause so you can heal for good.

Your body is physically expressing how you think and feel.

When you are in discomfort, basically there is a pull away from the different parts of you, a disconnection.  Your soul will not tolerate it for long and creates pain to bring you back. 

When you listen and connect with what you're sensing.  The pain signals have done their job and pain releases.

Of course, it's natural to pull away from pain and try to stop it and lots of things can get in the way of healing too so follow the next three steps to keep you focused and clear your pain.

 

STEP ONE: CONNECT

Connect to the pain.

- Relax your body, breathe deep and slow, sink into the sensations you feel, notice what comes up for you.

It may be hard to stay connected with the pain after all pain is not nice and our impulse is to pull away.  Stay focused and it will shift.  If there's a lot of story behind the pain or it's been there a long time, keep doing this until you've had enough and come back later.

STEP TWO: sUPPORT

Support your immediate healing.

Do things that will immediately and directly help you.

Do you need to sleep?  Will essential oils soothe you?  Do you need to speak to someone, have a bath, eat, use plant medicine?  What's going to make you feel more comfortable right now?

STEP THREE: EXPAND

Look at the bigger picture, healing the full story relieves your immediate pain.

Physical pain is just the tip of the iceberg and not the original cause.  Look at your life as a whole.  Draw a circle and fill it with what goes on in your life.  Are there any areas missing or need attention?  Are there areas of particular stress?

Just by exploring your whole life, you are creating relief by the attention to it.

You can also meditate on problem areas or do a mandala to help you heal.

Blood and guts

I've always loved bodies, how they work, the different parts, the flow and relationship between the parts.


Once when I was at school, we were dissecting a frog (poor thing), my schoolmate fainted - out cold.  I couldn't get enough of the blood and the sinews and squidgy bits!

I've always loved bodies, how they work, the different parts, the flow and relationship between the parts.


Once when I was at school, we were dissecting a frog (poor thing), my schoolmate fainted - out cold.  I couldn't get enough of the blood and the sinews and squidgy bits!

The comfort probably came from my parents - mum cooked just about anything including maggot ridden pheasant.  She showed me how to cook liver and pull everything out of a chicken.  She'd send us off to gut the fish we'd caught earlier.  I liked the job!  I found it fascinating!



Don't mean to make you squeamish but I think bodies are amazing.

When I later became a therapist, I first studied basic massage but it wasn't enough for me - I wanted to know the deeper meaning.  I spent the next 30 years exploring body psychology, Eastern medicine and many holistic methods including acupressure and shiatsu.  How the body's parts related to emotion and thought.


But it wasn't until I'd had a deep emotional knock that things really shifted for me and a whole new world of healing started.

..I had been dumped! and the carpet was pulled from my feet.  I had to rethink my world, It was like a full computer reboot.
 


At the same time, I was working in a clinic.

This lady was standing at the bookshelf with her back to me.
 As I daydreamed, she drew my attention and as I looked at her, I started to 'see' inside her.  I felt her feelings.  I was drawn to her gut and her pelvic area.  I thought "what a mess, I wonder if it shows on her face". 

At that moment she turned around and her face confirmed what was happening in her womb.
I felt compelled to heal her.



When I was cut off from my regular thinking with my emotional shock, it freed me up to be beyond myself.
 



I started 'seeing' through bodies, 'hearing and seeing' feelings and memories of people.  Even past lives.


All my extra senses seemed to have opened.

 

Healing is the connection of things.
 

We usually cut ourselves off from healing because of this worry or that issue.  But it doesn't truly exist.  It's only real in our dream state, in our illusions of who we think we are!

Healing happens all the time.  It's the way the world functions.  It's the natural state.

When I got out of my dream state, I saw reality.

And now when I heal I guide people out of their dream state/their illusions and to their natural balance point where everything functions perfectly.
 

All you need to do is trust and let it happen.


I've treated everything from cancer to headaches.
It doesn't matter what you've got.  Whatever it is, if it doesn't feel good, it's not your natural state.
Even if it was an accident.
Even if it's hereditary.

I've found when I'm healing, it doesn't matter what the person thinks or feels..healing happens anyway.
We kid ourselves that our reality is real..but it's not.  Otherwise, everyone would feel and think the exact same things.

All you need to heal... 

is to somewhere within you, allow it, be open to it, want to change, allow someone to help you do that
.
The only people I find healing doesn't work for (at least with my method) is those who actively hold a stand against change or anything happening they don't personally believe or understand.  They believe their story, get scared and listen to their fears instead of allowing peace and healing for themselves.

In order to change, you have to let go of something else.  And that can feel scary..until you feel how wonderful it is to heal.
 



Doctor's don't heal...


They prod you and test you and give you statistics.  And there's no guarantee they'll come up with ANY answers for you.  Sometimes they make it worse.

Doctors train to fix the symptoms, give drugs, cut it out.
They barely even touch on nutrition.
UNFORTUNATELY, our bodies don't heal like that and that's why doctors methods don't work.
 


Our bodies are a whole piece that includes our thoughts and memories and emotions too.

 

If you try to fix one part, it affects all the other parts.

In order to heal, you have to look at things as a whole.  Holistically.
And any method you use as long as it's holistic will have a full effect because it's connecting to ALL of you.
Of course, sometimes we can't change but that's another story.

 


Healing takes..loving yourself, feeding yourself the right things, caring about how you feel, knowing what you want, being true to yourself, respecting who you really are.

Feel to the centre of the pain.  Breathe into the strength of it.  Hang on in there, it might be intense...but it will release when you do this.  How long that will take will be how deeply you're holding onto it.  It's not your fault, it's just how it works!  Be patient with yourself and if it's too much, do this until you've had enough then try again later.

The names of things are helpful but not necessary to healing.

Healing is all about the eb and flow of energy and when you encourage that, healing takes place.

Your body is not something you just walk about in.  It is a physical expression of YOU!  
You cannot cut bits off or take drugs and expect healing to take place unless you consider the whole self.


I have treated many people post operations or attending pain clinics to manage the pain, who are suffering shock from their accident or operation.
Once doctors/surgeons have cut your bits off!! or have given you medication, that's their bit done and you're supposed to go away and heal.

Energetically speaking, pain is an indicator of imbalance.
It's the tip of the iceberg of what's going on/wrong in your life.
It's your body saying "hey, look at this"!!

It's your point of reference of where to focus so you can heal.

....Isn't that great?...Not that you're suffering but that your body shows you exactly where to focus and what to do about it to heal.


You are not meant to suffer.  You are supposed to be in perfect harmony, full of love and full expression.
When you are in pain or discomfort, it's your body showing you where to start to get back to that lovely peaceful, balanced place.



So now you know that,.. what are you going to do to feel fab and clear the pain for good?

Focus on what's causing you problems and breathe deeply into them until you feel calmer.  Then continue to connect with your breathing until you relax.
AND THAT'S THE FIRST (and most important) STEP to healing and letting go of the pain.

The first thing is that your body is not your enemy.
When things go wrong in the body, it's only a sign of imbalance.

Luckily, your body is really clever, it shows you exactly where to look to regain balance and to be in perfect health.  
The intensity of the issue, shows you how urgent or how alarmingly away from your perfect health centre you are.
And even more luckily, you don't have to do any of the fixing!!  All you need to do is bring your attention to the issue(painful symptom) and breathe deeply, relax.

Your body already knows how to heal.  It does that every minute of every day.
And if you find that's not working, relax some more.  
Do what you need to do to chill, have fun, meet your needs.
And if that doesn't work, a deeper focus is needed.

There are reasons your pain is in place and won't budge....what are they?
Breathe into your pain and ask!!!
Your psyche knows.
Your body knows.
Your inner wisdom knows.
....Close your eyes, breathe.. and feel what you feel.  

Sometimes we don't listen or we don't want to listen but the answers are there.
Breathe into your situation and send love.

Emotions are a red flag to your healing.

They con you to look at them instead of your centre, which is where the healing is.
They divert your attention and want to make themselves centre instead.

They set off adrenaline to make you react.
They make you react.

.............................So why am I telling you all this??????????!
Emotions in themselves are so important but to healing, they get in the way and divert your attention. like the monkey mind to meditation.



If you are in pain, stress or tension...
to heal you must connect with your healing centre, your peaceful space, your heartbeat, the rhythm of your breath.
Very often our physical symptoms are deeply connected with our issues/emotions and thoughts.  Once we start exploring those symptoms, emotions can easily be triggered.. and stop the healing.

Recognise when you're being triggered by your emotions and focus instead on what you want to change.. connect with your breathing and send that breath to your pain/issue/tricky circumstance.

How sound clears your pain

Sound is vibrational and so are you!
When you're in pain, it resonates at a particular frequency and we can use sound to change that frequency to let go of the pain.

There are many ways to use sound but one of

When you're in pain, it resonates at a particular frequency and we can use sound to change that frequency to let go of the pain.

There are many ways to use sound but one of the quickest and easiest is to hum!!!
Start humming! Hum notes up and down and notice where you feel the sound in your body.
If you don't sense where, don't worry, just hum high and low anyway..it will affect your body.
Notice which notes you hum connect with your pain.
..and hang around the problem area, humming as you go!
When you do this, the sound connects to the pain and visa-versa.  Healing and release take place.


You might like to try other forms of sound healing.  How about a GONG bath?!
Look it up on the web to find your nearest event.
They use symbols, singing bowls and gongs to balance and purify your energy so your pain can release.  It's an amazing experience and can take you into many lifetimes too.  

Put on your favourite song or sing it to yourself.
Notice which songs/words you chose - they will be exactly the right ones to nurture you and balance.

Use classical music to soothe and shift you to the vibe you want.
Something wild and emotional like Mozart?
or serene and sending like Debussy?  Pick something appropriate for your needs and see the change in you.

Go to a sound healer.  They use tuning forks, Tibetan Chime Cymbals and singing bowls.
They are used to heal, balance and soothe you.  To balance your vibration so you can heal.

Go to a music shop or a stall at a festival/fair - some of these stalls have so many different kinds of instruments from all over the world. Play them all!!! and see which ones you like.  Those will be the right ones for you.
You can even ask your pain which ones will heal you.

When you're stressed and in pain, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you.  They might be terrible sounds, you might notice sounds you didn't hear before.  You might notice lovely sounds....Notice them all! and then, breathing deeply and slowly, bring them all into your pain and out again.
By this, you are connecting and establishing yourself in this moment, in this space right now and asking yourself to balance and heal.
