Who is Juliana Werner? –
Juliana Werner is a bodywork practitioner with focus on hands-on therapy & massage. She has a rich background in contemporary dance, contact improvisation, forró (brazilian partner dance) and somatic education practices which supported her on her own healing journey. Her work is inspired by the shamanic understanding of interconnectedness and balance, bridging the worlds of movement and touch, integrating these disciplines to offer a holistic approach to connection, healing, and self-awareness.
Her mission is to assist you in your journey back to the self, helping you to deepen the connection to your own body, empowering you to reclaim the body’s innate wisdom on the path to wholeness.
In this podcast Juliana will share with us a little bit about her own journey back to herself. She will talk about how dancing was a powerful tool for her to reconnect with her own body. Highlighting the importance of movement not only to support all the body’s systems but also its importance when addressing trauma. We will also discuss the importance of touch especially during early childhood and its role in regulating our nervous system and managing stress in our lives and how touch improves our immune system, being fundamental to our health.
The Journey back to the Self is an invitation to wholeness. An invitation for you to be in your body and to feel fully everything you have to feel. Because we cannot heal what we don’t feel.
