Pain calls your attention to something is wrong that something’s in need. An alarm to highlight an out of alignment. When you’re in pain or discomfort, it can feel like that is the problem, things like arthritis, back pain, constant headaches. But they are only the physical expressions of why they are there and they are messengers, physical expressions of what’s inside you. What’s alignment?

You are healthy and well, happy and at peace. Enthusiastic, excited, everything flows, pain free.

What’s out of alignment?

Pain and problems, challenges, stress, bad memories, experiences, horrible feelings and symptoms. Feeling stuck.

Just like a flashing light on the dashboard of your car, you don’t see the light as the problem, right?. You don’t smash the light or turn it off or ignore it, suppress it. You know it’s a warning of something that must be addressed. It calls your attention and sorting the problem makes the light goes away.

Pain and symptoms are exactly the same. They are your warning lights. Pain is a message that wants to be heard. Don’t shoot the messenger! Instead pay attention to it, take the correct actions and the message will go away. 

Can you see that there is a WHOLE other way to see and understand ill health and that trying to make symptoms go away does not work. It’s not enough to clear the symptoms. Unless the root cause, the reason you’re suffering is cleared too, the symptoms have no option but to return or get worse. The message gets loader! Healing starts by connecting to and listening to those pain messages.
