Who is Jessica?

Jessica spent her childhood in the ancient landscape of Fife, Scotland. The dramatic moorlands, coastline, and glen immersed Jessica in the wild beauty of nature that communicated readily with her.

And then: her mother left, she was hit by lightning, she had a serious back injury.

Jessica began a long journey within. The road less travelled led her to an intensive eight-year shamanic initiation with the last living descendants of the Inca. During this time, she learned to appreciate beauty, to follow its lead, and to witness its rhythm in all things.

Today Jessica’s artwork is informed by her healing journey. Jessica’s ‘Art of Self-Reflection: Peace Medicine’ philosophy maps her internal and external landscape. The process involves using shamanic techniques to find peace within, freeing her body to make performative gestures imbued with a profound presence.

She studied an BA Fine art at Central St Martins school of Art, London and MA in Fine Arts photography at London College of communication.

She went on to study the body through TRE (tension stress and trauma release) and then joining the Shamanic medicine wheel training at Spirit of the Inca. She now runs her own medicine wheel training alongside Assisting Chris Waters her guide in Shamanism.

Jessica is passionate about showcasing how inner healing work can transform us from the inside out, allowing us to live in a state of heaven on earth. She believes that this courageous and radical act can help shift the world from suffering to authenticity, leading to a life filled with peace.
