Who is Lucy Bogaczyk?
Lucy Bogaczyk is a creative guide, knitting teacher, and meditation facilitator who weaves together the art of knitting therapy, mindfulness, and healing. With years of experience teaching adults and children, Lucy helps people connect their hands, heart, and mind through the therapeutic rhythm of knitting. Her work is grounded in the belief that creating with wool and natural fibres isn’t just craft — it’s a form of self-care, grounding, and spiritual connection.
Drawing on the pioneering research of Lady Betsan Corkhill, Lucy shares how knitting therapy can calm the nervous system, activate the brain’s alpha-wave state, and even help those living with chronic pain find purpose, comfort, and joy. Through her Wool Wellness Journey — guided by the philosophy of Play, Explore, Create — Lucy invites everyone to experience the soothing power of pure fibres, colour, and mindful making as a way to reconnect, heal, and create something beautiful.
Lucy talks about:
Knitting Therapy: Calm the mind and ease pain through mindful knitting.
Mind–Body Connection: Find focus, grounding, and peace through craft.
Wool Wellness: Discover healing and spirituality in natural fibres.
