Changing the world, one woman at a time
On This Call –
Cortisol, and the Stress Response it’s involved in, is a survival-critical hormone for human beings. It’s one important reason why humans survived as cavewomen were able to evolve. Cortisol helped us kill the tiger that came into our cave – or run away. Whatever happened in that moment, the stress was over pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, in modern times, cortisol is not so helpful. We don’t face tigers. We have long-term, lingering stressors, like mortgages, long commutes and stressful jobs. Cortisol is over-produced, and that can make feeling healthy very hard – and it can make symptoms you live with worse – including pain.
In people with chronic health conditions cortisol is almost always too high or dysregulated. Regulating your nervous system by managing cortisol plays a big part in the way we feel. Cortisol can create inflammation, which feeds into the pain cycle.
It’s time to break the cycle:
- Understand the crucial connections between inflammation, cortisol and pain
- Experience a 3 minute technique to regulate cortisol, fast
- The 3 foods you need to be eating to reduce pain
- Get your questions answered, LIVE.
*Sara will be making you a special offer for her upcoming cortisol detox following this call.
